About

A Bit About Me: I have been playing TTRPGs off and on for about 15 years. I started running drop in games for beginners at breweries and restaurants 7 years ago and then shifted to online games in 2020. While D&D 5e got me started, I’ve migrated towards other games in the last few years, either incorporating them into my 5e games when I can, or running them on their own to highlight their strengths. I enjoy narrative and story-first games that let the players take control,  like Blades in the Dark and Ironsworn, as well as Old School style games like Mork Borg and ShadowDark, which can be very brutal and deadly. I’m always looking for new games to add to my collection and enjoy supporting indie creators whenever I can. This basically means I’m a huge nerd when it comes to mechanics and storytelling techniques, with too many games to ever play them all!

My Play Style and Approach: My games tend to be more roleplaying focused, with components of worldbuilding during the exploration of the world and your character’s story. I am a huge fan of “Building Worlds Through Play” and often incorporate parts of storytelling games into my campaigns, giving the players the opportunity to have a larger influence on the world they adventure in. Sometimes I run entire sessions of worldbuilding and storytelling so players can have the opportunity to create rich locales and lore to use as inspiration in their other games.

Sometimes the stories we tell are grand and heroic, and sometimes they are short and unfortunate. While I enjoy quick and dirty one-shots or “short shots” (2-3 sessions) to introduce players to a new game, I absolutely love longer campaigns, where the time can be taken to explore the characters, and the world, together.  They tend to be slower paced and character driven, giving the players more freedom and agency than a typical adventure. If you enjoy published adventures with clear objectives, I might not be a good fit. If you want an open ended adventure where the characters decide what to do next in a world to explore and expand upon, then we should chat. I also typically run games with smaller groups so everyone gets more time in the spotlight each session.

I love talking about TTRPGs, so feel free to find me on the Discord channel, or Instagram and Threads for any questions you might have.

What I Provide: My sessions make use of Zoom, with limited visual aids. I prefer to leave the world a bit abstract to allow for more creative solutions from the players. I have also found that players, especially new ones, can become overwhelmed keeping track of multiple windows and apps while also trying to learn how to play. Let’s keep it simple so we can focus on the story and the world you will be exploring. For D&D sessions, we will use DnDBeyond and I will set up a campaign for you to join. For other sessions, I will always provide access to the full rules pdf, a quick reference or player guide, and pdf character sheet (form fillable whenever possible).

What You Need: A webcam, a mic, and a way to roll some dice. Again, let’s keep it simple so we can focus on the story.

Fantastic worldbuilding session

May 7, 2024

I played a worldbuilding game with Jeremy, and it was fantastic. I was completely new to the game, and new to worldbuilding games in general. Jeremy lead the session expertly, giving enough detail and direction to get us started while allowing us players to brainstorm and be creative with our build. He was kind and patient, and he knew just when to step in if we needed help. He has a great sense of humor, there was a lot of laughter as we played. I’m looking forward to the next chance I’ll have to play one of his games again. Thanks Jeremy!

Highlight of my week, playing a scoundrel.

Jeremy is a great DM, and I look forward to every game with him. He engages the player and seems to be a genuine fan of the PCs, even as they smash headlong through a score like bulls in a china shop!

A fearless GM

Jeremy knows how to build worlds, tell stories, and engage players. He is especially good at meeting players where they are at. If you want silliness, he’s your guy. If you want serious, high-stakes drama, he’s your guy. If you want long-term character growth, he’s your guy. Any type of game and any type of story, you won’t regret having Jeremy guide you through it.

Total pro -- smooth, seemless and exciting gameplay

February 2, 2024

Jeremy does a great job with Blades in the Dark! He has clearly planned ahead, has a brilliant mind for imagining scenarios that are appropriate to the roll of the dice, and makes each session fun for players.

I love Thursdays night Blades, and playing with Jeremy is a highlight!

"World-building" is too dry of a term, this deserves more... Epic Lore??

December 21, 2023

It’s hard to put into words how mesmerizing and inspiring this game session was. With zero “action” built into the game rules, we had so much happen in the world of the people we channeled as we told our interwoven, collaborative story. And this was such a success because of this DM’s hard work of supporting players’ imaginations (and lending his in a pinch), record-keeping, making sure that group dynamics worked well… I could honestly appreciate how intense it must have been to run such a storytelling-heavy game, yet as a player it felt effortless for me to be creative, and just to HAVE FUN

Great time

I felt really lucky to have Jeremy introduce this game and ttrpgs to me with this game. He was patient and walked through character creation and a small heist that felt like it was equal parts action and intrigue. Highly recommended.

A GM with endless imagination and world-building at its best

November 18, 2023

Jeremy’s knack for storytelling is truly superb. The lore, the dangers and especially the end of session cliffhangers keep us all coming back for more. He has a fantastic ability to immerse players into vivid surroundings and introduce them to interesting NPC’s along the way.

Jeremy thoughtfully encourages players to be active participants in character development and the world-building process. This equates to limitless imagination, super creative game sessions and a hell of a lot of fun for everyone!

First DM Forever DM

November 14, 2023

My first introduction to D&D was with Jeremy after a friend won a session with him. We’ve done D&D, Blades in the Dark, he created his own Grim Dark campaign, Mork Borg, Shadow of the Demon Lord (modified), so many different systems. I’d say he’s quite the dabbler, but if Jeremy’s running it, it’s gonna be a good time.

He gives his players lots of creative freedom. He’s great with feedback so don’t be afraid to tell him what you may have liked or didn’t like in a session as he likes to experiment. He doesn’t pull punches soo if you roll poorly expect bad things to happen (but isn’t that fun of it?!)

Overall you can expect a good session and you’ll definitely have fun.

Outstanding GM Delivers Top Tier Gaming Experiences

November 7, 2023

Jeremy has a gift for developing absolutley unique and fully immersive worlds. He creates an experience that allows players to easily lose themselves in thier characters. He guides players on journeys and adventures so thoroughly that players can’t help but become fully emotionaly invested in the world and their fellow adventures’ well being. A world class GM, easily on par with the Matt Mercers and Brennen Lee Mulligans of the TTRPG world.

Jeremy is a one-of-a-kind. He brings ALL the magic!

November 7, 2023

I’ve been playing Jeremy’s games for years now and he never disappoints. His theater of the mind immersion is tip-top! Always runs his games very professionally with lots of fun involved. Very creative to bring in lots of new game elements and surprises. He has run DND 5e, but also runs many other platforms for me that are always great. I always need a lot of guidance and babysitting for character creation and game mechanics, and he is adept at providing plenty of information while not slowing down the group.

He’s the picasso of plot twists – the Shakespeare of shenanigans – balancing bad-assery and blending it with boons and banes.

I raise my glass to the miracle maker who makes my Tuesdays a little tastier!
