Silus Barton has been the talk of town as of late. Word has spread about the unfortunate and recent death of his beloved wife, Ayanna Barton, whilst they were fishing together upon Echo Pond nearly six months back. Though local authorities deemed her death an accident, Silus is convinced in more than one way that his wife was murdered – not by the hands of a land-dweller, but by none other than the Monster of Echo Pond, an unseen local legend rumored to stalk the pond’s depths. Silus has frequented the tavern many times in an effort to recruit anyone to help him, yet none have stepped forward.
Until now…

Been playing in a 5e campaign with zym about 3-4 years now and it’s been a good time. His world building is solid and he’s able to set the scene with music and very detailed descriptions of your surroundings. Would highly recommend for players who love role play.
Zym loves to create worlds with rich lore and moving segments that seem to progress and exist, your inaction has consequences in his world as does your actions.
Is always there to talk to and build upon pcs. I was always able talk through ideas/character changes and even some game questions. He explains it well and if a concept can work in the game setting or not and does not just out right say no that wouldn’t work or you just can not be that cause it’s lame. If he does say no about it he atleast explains why and gives good and kind responses for it but even then still works in ways that atleast part of it could fit in the game.
I’ve been lucky enough to have Zym as a DM for multiple campaigns. He was my first DM and showed so much patience and understanding while teaching me how to play 5e. Now that I have more experience, I jump at the chance to join any campaign he is DMing (especially horror-based!) Zym’s world-building is phenomenal and he knows exactly how to pull you into a story. His worlds are intricate without being too complicated and his characters all have depth. I would recommend him as a DM to anyone who will listen and will continue to try and follow anything new he does.
I’ve had the pleasure of participating in several of Zym’s games over the years, from Call of Cthulhu to D&D, and I’m excited to soon experience his take on FATE. His storytelling skills consistently keep me on the edge of my seat, always eager for the next session. Zym has a deep understanding of various game rulesets, making each game run smoothly and ever engaging for players.
He also manages his Discord server with a perfect balance of fairness and fun, fostering a community where users are encouraged to interact and connect with one another, and of course, play games!
Give Zym a try. You will not be disappointed!
