In the far North of the Sword Coast, just north-west of the city of Luskan, several days travel north of Neverwinter, lies the small fishing village of Peabody. With only a few huts and no real commerce, Peabody is a quiet, sleepy little hidden gem. Within this gem is one of your favorite destinations: Winter’s Gift. A small, warm, homely little tavern tucked out of the way of most northern traffic, and visited by few.
Each year, during the winter solstice, your small group of friends gather at The Gift to catch up on the years offerings, have a warm pint of Ice Cider (the amazing creation of Olly Fizzlesticks, the proprietor) and enjoy the amazingly warm hearth.
This year is proving exceptionally cold, and the snow has blanketed Peabody with a soft, heavy covering that, although majestic in appearance, makes travel nearly impossible. Luckily you all arrived before the snow has buried you inside.
Your hearts are full as you have your friends, warm cider, and an amazing fire to keep you company on this cold night. Nothing could ruin this night now. Right?

Having struggled to find a welcoming, supportive way for a beginner to play D & D, I was over the moon to find not only this website, but the fantastic DM that is Maggs. He is warm, funny and encouraging, and - for a beginner - blended lore, adventure, suspense and a bit of training/confidence-building into an engaging one shot that left me thinking a) I can do this and b) I can't wait to see what's next for my dragonborn Paladin, who has now uncovered what's next in her destiny... Thank you so much, Maggs. This one-shot lifted me up! Can't wait to keep playing.

Scot what a one shot that was, A very gripping story with good laughs throught, would also like to say the creation of a custom mini token going into deatil of race and class was an amazing touch . Will be returning again for more dnd playthroughs
I have played a few campaigns with Scot and have really appreciated how patient he was teaching me the game, and the mechanics of the online systems. He was also very entertaining and quite funny! I will definitely be going back to enjoy more gaming with Scot.
