Level 20 One-Shot! Try your hand (and eye) at an epic encounter!

This one-shot adventure takes place in a wizard tower owned by three scholars—Kalene, Aden, and Brin—who were researching Vecna. When their studies caught Vecna’s attention, the archlich planeshifted the tower to Limbo, a plane of chaos. There, he imprisoned the scholars and tormented them until their untimely ends.

Vecna now uses the tower to lure in and kill those that dare to learn more about him. The tower contains deadly traps, forbidden knowledge on Vecna, and a gate to the archlich’s own sanctum.

Player Objectives

• Investigate Cientia Tower.
• Retrieve the uncovered secrets of Vecna.
• Find the three keys to open the Cruel Gate.
• Defeat Vecna.

What You Bring
Create your level 20 character in D&D Beyond. You can have up to 1 Artifact-level and 2 Legendary attunable magic items, or 3 Legendary attunable items. Custom/community-made items on D&DB will require a review, but unless it’s obviously broken or OP, I’m likely to okay it. Let me know if you need any assistance or guidance.

What I Bring
This game will be played using AboveVTT (via Chrome) and Discord, so all you’ll need is your D&DB character ready to go! I will reach out a week before our session to make sure you have everything you’ll need.
