Adventure Overview:
Welcome to the Dragon of Icespire Peak! You and your fellow group of traveling adventurers have come upon the village of Phandelin, a non-descript enough town, with simple folk trying to live normal lives. Or so it seems (as everything does) upon first glance.
Very rapidly, you and your friends will be placed in situations requiring your intervention. Whisper and rumor hint that orc tribes encroach on the hill settlements, creatures from the mountain ranges have suddenly appeared on the frontier, and things which should be peaceful suddenly…are not. The dwarves are delving a bit too deep into the ruins of Axholm, and even the Gnomes of the quirky settlement of Gnomengarde are having challenges with their creations.
But that’s why you’re here. To see how you can help, or profit, from these developments.
Welcome to the Dragon of Icespire Peak.
What if you’ve never played an RPG, what is it like?
Our games are player-driven, putting you and your character at the center of the plot. Your choices will decide the outcome: from heroic victory to an untimely end. We’re here to tell a great story that makes you feel like you’re in your favorite book or movie.
What do you need to do before the first session?
Upon sign up, we’ll connect and make sure you can begin fleshing out your character ideas, and that I can support you with questions about any of the tech programs.
What does the GM provide?
The GM provides access to the D&D Beyond source materials.
Character Creation Guidelines:
Characters will start out at level one. We will use standard array or point buy during session zero to create our characters. If you don’t know what this is, that’s ok! I’ll help you figure all this out.
I ask that all characters have a reason for needing the adventuring party. I do not allow evil alignment for purposes of encouraging party unity.

This game includes typical fantasy themes that one may find in stories like Lord of the Rings. Themes of dark and light abound. Murder and violence in this context are found throughout.

I stared started getting into D&D when 5e started. I didn’t start playing it 3or 4 years into 5th Editions release because of not knowing anyone who played. I played with a group of friends up to when covid started and then for 3 years I didn’t have a way to play. when I met Brian and his group of players, I wasn’t in a good head space. I felt alone but after playing with Brain he became a great friend and dm. he lets you be creative. he doesn’t judge you for wanting to be creative. I’d choose Brian as my GM any day of the week hands down. his ideas are so cool, and I love his style of GMing. his Podcasts are fun to listen to as well.

Brain does an excellent job walking his players through scenarios and explaining game mechanics. As an aspiring DM, it was great to be able to observe how he interacts with his players and runs his game. Amazing experience, would highly recommend!
Brian is as passionate as he is hilarious with what he does. He is so good at making people feel welcome and really being an ambassador for new players to the games he presents. The game was fun. New folks were well cared for in terms of advice on character builds. Wonderful experience all around, and my group and I will absolutely be consulting with this fine DM again!

Brian is great. He likes to dive into the player’s experiences and reactions. Very dedicated to making each session immersive.

I usually running Adventure League over zoom for my not so near local comic shop in Ohio over zoom, so it’s nice to get a break and be one a player. Brain is a stellar game master. He makes his adventures fun as well as exciting. I’m so glad that I got a chance to play Star Wars 5e. Great zjon
I was very new to DnD when I first encountered Brian. He was guest DMing at my local game shop for their "EPIC" night! Brian took our group through an amazing sequence of events which had both funny and engaging role-play to high intensity combat. Brian was able to answer my questions quickly and without making me feel silly or dumb for asking. I had to get his contact info THAT night in hopes to gain a new adventuring buddy. Fast forward a few weeks/months. I was offered an opportunity to play virtually with Brian and 1 other player. I was hesitant about how the experience would be but let me tell you. Brian single handedly delivered some of the best storytelling I have seen in those sessions! Brian is a great DM and an even better person!! I feel blessed to have met him!! 10/10 would recommend!!
