Khorvaire, a continent of Eberron, is a land scarred by a war that was never won. A tense stalemate was reached after the nation of Cyre was decimated by a thick mist that spread through the land in a single day, destroying or transforming all in its path. In the aftermath, the sovereign states hoard their technological advancements and manipulate their political positions. They watch their neighbors, poised for the resurgence of a war that everyone is too afraid to start.
We find our characters in the city of Sharn, amid this tumultuous political landscape. Due to their dragonmarks, they are members of an exclusive guild cohort. Some characters belong to one of the dragonmarked houses, and some bear aberrant dragonmarks which elicit fear and raise suspicion. Your guild patron has assignments for you to complete, but what sorts of mysteries will you discover along the way? Can you manage your house affiliations while you seek to protect the city of Sharn? Will you uncover clues about the Mournlands?
Who is a good fit for this campaign?
Brand new players, early beginners, and experienced players will all enjoy this campaign. Don’t worry about knowing all the rules, that’s the GM’s job. You can simply join, play, and have fun in an immersive, collaborative storytelling experience.
Who will like this campaign?
What if you’ve never played a tabletop RPG, what is it like?
You will play a character in an ongoing story. Along with the other player characters at the table, you will face challenges, problems, and mysteries within a vibrant world. The game is character-driven; you are at the center of the plot and your choices determine the outcome. It should feel like you’re in the middle of your favorite book or movie.
What is the GM’s game style?
Gameplay balances the three main aspects of D&D – roleplay, exploration, and combat. Lauren provides ample opportunities for characters to roleplay with each other and with NPCs within a vivid environment prepped for exploration. Combat scenarios are unique and challenging.
What does the GM provide?
The GM provides access to DndBeyond for character creation, gameplay, and source materials.
The GM hosts a campaign discord server so the group can discuss, plan, and stay connected during the week. The discord hosts the gametime video chat.
The GM uses the AlchemyRPG virtual tabletop, as well as music and ambiance during sessions.
How should a player prepare?
You’re welcome to create a character concept prior to our first session, but there could be a few details we need to adjust. We will be finalizing character plans over our discord server and during our first session as a group.
Make sure you have a working microphone/headset and webcam.
Campaign module:
We’re playing a selection of adventures from Across Eberron: Convergence Manifesto, but we will also incorporate and explore player character backstories. If the players choose to venture into the Mournlands, we will borrow pieces of the Oracle of War module.
Narrative Themes or Warnings:
This campaign includes narrative elements that one may find in stories like Lord of the Rings. Themes of dark and light abound, so violence in this context is found throughout the game. That said, Lauren’s games are pretty upbeat, so any serious or difficult aspects are veiled and passed over quickly. Players are also given opportunities to share content sensitivities and preferences at any time, so the GM can be aware and pivot the story accordingly.
I have played on several tables with Lauren she is fun & engaging to play with. As a GM for a mini campaign she was fantastic. She makes great stories that get you invested in the world you are playing in. She asks great questions & is very fair with 5e rule interpretation. I wish her tables weren’t full so fast so I could play at her table again. She is inclusive & very welcoming. I highly recommend her if you want someone who will help you bring you character to life in the world you are playing in.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing with Lauren in several campaigns and she brings a great energy to the table. I recently finished a two shot campaign she GMed and it was fantastic. She invests in the details, characters, and environment creating a wonderful setting and story.
Just finished my first ever RPG! Lauren made it easy and fun. She walked me through the prep and character creation and then all I had to do was enjoy the game. Can’t wait to do it again.

I'm a forever GM, and I like it that way. I love running games, and I had subpar experiences with other GMs in the past. I always found myself bored or uninvolved or thinking, "I could do this better." But with Lauren, I finally have a GM that I adore. I never missed being a player before; in fact, I never really wanted to be a player. But now that I've had Lauren as a GM, I understand why people love being a player so much!
She is invested in the players *and* the characters. She's able to weave the story in a way to incorporate every character at the right times with the right meaning in ways that the players playing them appreciate. In other words, she listens well and pays attention. When you play in Lauren's games, you feel like you're actually a part of an incredible story weaving together before your eyes. She cultivates an encouraging atmosphere where players feel free to respond, offer feedback, and make friends around the table.
If you've had bad experiences with D&D or TTRPGs, Lauren is the therapy you need. If you're a Forever GM, then Lauren is the one to make you excited to become a player again. Be on the lookout for any more games she prepares!

I happened upon Lauren by way of a random Instagram story (thanks algorithm!) and within a week I was playing my first ever TTRPG. Lauren was a fellow player in that instance, but since then I’ve had the good fortune of playing in a one-shot and an ongoing weekly campaign with Lauren as my DM. She is imaginative, collaborative, patient, and fully invested in providing a fun and immersive experience for her players. I look forward to game night every week (we have THE BEST group) and I thank my lucky stars for providing me the chance to meet and play alongside Lauren. Highly recommend :)

Lauren is a great GM. She's a very creative storyteller who is great at building the world up around you. She's very easy going and is totally chill if you don't understand or need a little explanation about game mechanics. She's also really flexible when it comes to what you want to do with your character. I have had character traits/abilities I wanted to bring into the game but wasn't quite sure how they would incorporate and she helped me figure them out. If you're on the fence about joining her game go for it! She will make you feel right at home in a totally different world.

I've played in a couple of Lauren's games now: One-Shots and Mini-Campaigns. She's an excellent storyteller who presents a living, breathing world in which you feel connected and engaged. She develops the story seamlessly, making every moment feel like the natural existence of the world and not another 'plot hook.' By doing so, she allows every player to have dynamic involvement and freedom. She adapts on the fly with ease and it makes you think that it was her plan all along... maybe it was—she's clever enough for me to think that it's so.
Every player feels welcome at her table, and it quickly becomes a session of fun and excitement.
Oh, and her character voices/accents... I wonder if she had professional voice training or actually lived in Russia, Brooklynn, and Ireland sometime in her life.
