Hello everyone! My name is Dave and I am what you call a forever GM. I have played a ton of different TTRPG games, and I absolutely love this hobby. I have been playing for years (many years!) and have run all sorts of different game styles, from super easy and light games while teaching kids how to play all the way up to a mature adult-only game with an intense atmosphere. I also do some improv comedy as a hobby; I feel it helps keep me on my toes as a GM, so I do like to have a good laugh at the table also. Who doesn’t, right?
Everyone is welcome at my table, and I ask that we all respect one another and make room for each other so we all get to play these wonderful games.
The games I like to run are very character-driven. I like to work with the players to build the world around them and flesh out the stories of their characters as we play. I try to immerse the players in an environment that feels alive and roleplay the NPCs with personality.
In order to play my games, you will need a decent microphone, a webcam, a way to roll some dice, and an internet connection. To connect with each other while we play, I typically use Discord. I also use Foundry VTT for handouts and some maps (if needed), and I run it all through the Forge website, so you might need to sign up for that, but it is super easy and completely free. Once you have the free account, I just invite you directly into the game, and you drop right in Foundry VTT. I subscribe to a few really good Patreons too, so I have some cool maps and complete scenario VTT sets to run that look amazing.

Dave is an awesome game master, no matter the game. He has a great way of creating space for his players to role play and develop character and relationships. He doesn’t railroad - he’s always ready to pivot to follow the players’ lead. For me, that’s the perfect game master. Committed to making sure the players have a good time, while not making it too easy. There has to be tension in order for the role play to be immersive.

Dave is the best GM. He cares a lot about the player experience. He’s always trying to put the players in situations they can shine and subtlety guide them along the way. His ability to bring out the best in the players is unmatched. His improve skills are exceptional and can throw out his game plan and take on player created chaos with excitement while maintaining a cohesive story.
I had so much fun! Dave is a great handler. He helped me, as a newer player, feel comfortable and confident. I laughed, I got scared and I found myself really getting into the scenario. I can hardly wait to play again. Highly recommend.
Dave is the best game master i have ever played with. He is funny and personable, he creates space for his players to be creative, he adds so much flavour, and always keeps you on the edge of your seat.
