Hello everyone! My name is Dave and I am what you call a forever GM. I have played a ton of different TTRPG games, and I absolutely love this hobby. I have been playing for years (many years!) and have run all sorts of different game styles, from super easy and light games while teaching kids to absolutely brutal, dark horror games with an intense atmosphere and everything in between. I also do some improv comedy as a hobby, and I feel it helps keep me on my toes as a GM, and who doesn’t love to have a good laugh every once in a while, right?

I love running games that give the players a chance to grow their characters and let them help build the world through play. I really enjoy narrative, story-first games that let the players spread their creative wings, and a lot of my games use “theatre of the mind” to let the players paint their own picture of the scene in their heads. 

In order to play my games, you will need a decent microphone, a webcam, a way to roll some dice, and an internet connection. To connect with each other while we play, I typically use Discord. Zoom can also be an option if preferred. I also use Foundry VTT for handouts and some maps (if needed), and I run it all through the Forge website, so you might need to sign up for that, but it is super easy and completely free.
