I played my first ever CP2020 game with Snohomish and it was great. He helped guide me through character creation before we played and made himself available to my questions. While we played he was an excellent teacher and was very patient when I needed to figure things out. The game itself was super fun and I had a great time. The man knows this game very well and it showed. I will definitely be back to play some more!
I've now played a couple times with Sno and (re)discovered the world of Night City and Cyberpunk. Sno knows the city map like the back of his hand, even to the point of being able to describe particular shops that sit on a given street and recall important historical moments that occured there. Ripperdocs and Bars all have their own personal history, and Snow knows them all. If you're looking for a detailed guide to Night City, look no further. As someone else said, it seems that he always recalls the intricate details at the most (in)opportune times to keep the story and your decisions immediately relevant. He remembers particular character details and seamlessly weaves them into encounters for roleplay, combat, and exploration. Cyberpunk 2020 is a crunchy system, but Sno has it covered and can guide you through learning and using it. It may not be for everybody, and the possibility of failure in Night City is a genuine reality in this game—with the luck of dice rolls, it may just result in being unable to complete the job you've been assigned. That simply serves to alter the narrative: since failure is an option, you may just find yourself with new enemies, new debts, or trying to figure out creative ways to do what needs to be done.
Snow is excited to share the world of Cyberpunk at its golden hour before the 2077 frenzy. So if you're looking for a classic-style TTRPG with crunchy rules, realistic equipment management, and Immersive detail of the world at large, give Sno a chance.
I was a player in Sno's game for several years. His ability to weave exciting storylines for new and seasons players is incredible. The sense of adventure and immersive world building brings players coming back and feeling invested. He gives great help when needed, but not too much. He encourages roleplaying and rewards creativity while helping all players feel valued.
Sno possesses a single-minded focus and determination. The important details are never lost on him. Did you forget to bring a mask well people actually will recognize you later. If you crash into a wall how much damage does the wall take how much do you take? How heavy was the vehicle how fast was it? And he is not limited to small-scale robberies and punk-level combat either. He has no issues with increasing the scale of the maps to kilometers and rolling out the tanks.
In our last game, we had been escorting some cargo to the Aldecaldos nomad clan. We had an issue with some deadbeats that we managed to solve via social skills and the glint of a threatening shotgun. As we were driving through the canyons we would see a Militech A-20 hovercraft. It was a serious threat but we had crazy and a bit of luck on our side.
I've never seen him compromise on the specifics of the story and never seen one go unfinished. I've had all sorts of fun adventures with Sno from corporate espionage too slumming it with the gang.
4 sessions played
Ran 3 or 4 sessions with Sno now. Really good DM and the minor issue I did have was explained to me in a clear way so I could understand his perspective.
Had the chance to run a bit of the introductory one shot that Snohomish set up of for our group and truly enjoyed it. Snohomish helped us set up our characters and explain most of the mechanics we had questions with as well as provide us with the necessary tools to run the campaign via Roll20. Plug in all the information to roll20 and the cyberpunk character creation tool they had was so convenient as when you had to roll for something you could just click that specific skill on the character sheet and include modifiers. As for the campaign one shot, we had a nice introduction to Night city including some of the lore and characters in the overall game world. Overall enjoyed the campaign as well as all the help and tools we used.
